Facade Continued....

I wanted to take the idea of the rule of thirds and play around a bit more, so I began thinking about how I could manipulate this facade while keeping to the rule. So I started pulling and pushing the segments in and out but it came to no immediate benefit.

Then I started to disect the segments and leave some out completely. I attempted to protrude certain ones to form photo areas, these were the results.

While these produced some interesting results, I wasn't entirely sure that this was what I wanted for my building. It was starting to get too busy.

Here, again, I returned to the blobitecture idea. I didn't like it.

Here was a quick sketch of a facade with the intersections exaggerated. I had the idea of turning these into port-hole-esque windows from which the occupants could take photos, however, it didn't last long.

I was still unsure about how I wanted my facade to work and so I turned to a different approach in determining the form of my building.
